You may be eligible for in-home WiFi at no cost

Do you use WiFi to learn, work, access healthcare, or watch movies/TV from home? Smart Columbus is working with The Columbus Foundation, Columbus City Schools, and the City of Columbus, to bring affordable and reliable WiFi to Columbus residents like you as soon as possible.

Introducing Cbus WiFi, a pilot initiative that will test different WiFi services in two areas of Columbus. For this program, we are looking for participants who live on the South Side within half a mile of the Reeb Avenue Center or in King-Lincoln Bronzeville within half a mile of Mount Vernon Plaza.

South Side

Within 1/2 mile of Reeb Ave. Center

King-Lincoln Bronzeville

Within 1/2 mile of 1035 Atcheson St.

Program participants will receive in-home WiFi service at no cost until the end of 2022. Participants will be asked to complete two surveys during the program. After the trial period, you can opt-in to using the WiFi for no more than $20/month with no hidden costs or cancellation fees.

With help from program volunteers, we can make affordable WiFi access available to more families in our community.
